Kindness Still Matters Campaign
Check out www.kindnessstillmatters.org for a look at
the companion website to our March sermon series
on living like Christ.  Reach out to others in our
community by grabbing a “kindness” card at the
welcome center and using it through the week.  Pay
for the latte of the person behind you at Starbucks
and leave the card.  They’ll be pleasantly surprised
at your act of kindness.  The card will lead them to
the “kindness still matters” website which will
explain WHY you did what you did for them!

Community Free4All Event
May 17th at the future site of the Jack Jones
Memorial Complex.  SLWC in partnership with LARA
(Lakeview Area Recreational Association) will be
providing a day of fun, prizes and food that is
“Free4All”!  More details to come later, but mark
your calendars now!

Missions is a priority!  At SLWC, we take the Great
Commission very seriously.  That’s why we not only
support many missionaries at a District level, but
have also had many people from our congregation
who have followed the call to full time missionary
work.  We’re also actively partnering with a 4000-
member church in Haiti to help them develop their
church and its members.  Short-term missions trips
are another way we focus on spreading Christ’s love
and  resources!  Need more information on missions?
