As God directs us into new and unfamiliar situations, we tend to focus on the unknown newness of radical change and the challenges we face along the way. This week, as we conclude our walk through the Book of Joshua, Pastor Jesse examines how we can work through these transitions as we choose to pursue God wherever He directs us as we progress into these new lands we encounter.
This week, Pastor Jeremiah asks the question, “Have you ever wished you could undo that one significant decision that didn’t seem so significant at the time you made it?” As we look at chapters 20 and 21 in the Book of Joshua this week, we see such an instance. Here we make some observations from this passage, and examine some truths we can take away into similar circumstances we may experience.
As we continue with our look into the Book of Joshua this week, Pastor Jesse walks us through Chapters 13 and 14 and examines some important truths we run into along the way.
At times for many, there are situations where we “almost win,” but we leave a remnant of Ungodliness in our lives. This week, as we lean back into the Book of Joshua, Pastor Jesse looks at three cities mentioned in Joshua 11-13 and what happened because there was that remnant of Ungodliness that continued to live there after the battles were fought, battles that must be fully won in our lives for full victory.
Oftentimes, we come face to face with situations in our lives that seem impossible to us. This week, Pastor Jesse takes us through Chapters 9 and 10 in the Book of Joshua, where we look at the idea that we can see and experience the impossible when we walk with the God who does the impossible.
As Pastor Jesse continues our walk through the Book of Joshua, we take a look this week at sin, defined as “things that set you apart from the perfect will of God.” Looking into Chapters 7 and 8 this week, Pastor Jesse navigates us through the idea of sin, the slippery slope where it can take us, and how we can experience the blessings of God through our obedience to Him.
There are times in all of our lives where something, either good or bad, becomes so big it consumes all of our energy, thoughts, and time. Listen as Pastor Jeremiah unpacks Chapter 6, where we will see as we stop and listen for God, follow His battle plan, and give Him our obedience, we begin to see what is currently in front of us is all part of a much bigger plan.
