Recent Stories : (Gave) Stopped to purchase gasolene at a local service station. Left money with the attendant to help an elderly gentlemen, with an old car that outwardly didn't appear to have much. R - Grove City (Gave) I asked for the help of a nurse at my kid's pediatrician's office. He left a chocolate candy cross with the card attached on the pediatrician's desk for me. I would have loved to see his reaction! I hope it touches his heart. - C from Jackson Center (Gave) I am sorry to say I did not give my card away, but I did do an act of kindness, on 03/17/2008, taking my son to his babysitter, I saw one of her neighbors horses had escaped its pen, well I pulled over, threw my flashers on woke the sleeping owners, helped corrall the horse, and was eventually 20 minutes late for work. I must say it was 20 minutes well spent. - J from Sandy Lake (Gave) I left a candle and the card on one of my teacher's desk. I knew she liked vanilla so I got her that scent. I got the librarian to help me do it secretly. - J from Jackson Center (Gave) I left the card with money at the snack counter at the Iris Theater in Cochranton. It evoked a heart-warming conversation with the owner of the theater. - C from Jackson Center (Gave) I left money and card at the gas station for the next person. Prayed that they would be as blessed as I felt when I pulled away. - B from Sandy Lake (Gave) I went through the drive-thru at McDonalds and asked the cashier to put $5.00 on the order of the vehicle behind me and to give them the card. I felt so good inside doing something for someone else. Can't wait to help again. - C from Grove City (Gave) This has been so much fun, trying to come up with different ways to bless someones day. Today I was at Wendy's grabbing a sandwich, someone ordered while I was paying, so I asked the girl if she'd do me a favor, she said yes, so I paid for their order and left the card. Can't wait to do it again this week and see who else I can bless. - T from Sandy Lake (Gave) We gave $5 to the ladies at Subway to put toward the next person's meal. The fun part was their reply ... "This isn't even for me, but this made my day! You don't see this much anymore." - S from Mercer (Gave) Made a pan of Lasagna, put a card on top with the card enclosed and had it drop off to a very hard working family, the note just said thanks for all you hard work for our town. -T from Sandy Lake (Gave) I was at a restaurant with my son. When I went to the counter to pay my bill, I asked the hostess/clerk to give the next person that came into line ten dollars toward his/her bill and the card. -K from Sandy Lake Gave) I was at a restaurant and noticed and older lady eating alone.
