JOIN THE MISSION
As we begin to Deepen the Soul and Find Relationship, we invariably step toward Joining the Mission.
At SLW, some of our Join the Mission expressions can be found through
financial giving, global ministry partnerships, and volunteer
opportunities within our own church and community.
We invite you to investigate some of the specific ways you can partner with us, and truly live SENT!

Online Giving
ONLINE GIVING
This area is designated for those who consider Sandy Lake Wesleyan their church home and want to give back to God from their first fruits! At SLW, you’ll hear us talk about Deepening the Soul, Finding Relationship and Joining the Mission as being our core goals. This online giving option is simply a tool for those who want to “join the mission” in partnering with SLW financially.
You may choose to use this method regularly, or perhaps simply use it when you are out of town or unable to make it to worship. You may use it for ongoing giving or for a one-time gift. The choice and convenience are yours!
We are utilizing a third-party provider to handle the secure, electronic processing of these transactions. When you click the button below, you’ll have the opportunity to either setup an account as a first-time user or simply login and begin your transaction. Just so you know, you’ll be leaving the SLW web site once you click below.
Thank you for joining the mission.

Freedom For More
FREEDOM FOR MORE

This is an exciting time for us as a church! God has positioned us with a great opportunity to reach well beyond ourselves to proclaim hope & freedom through our 5 county footprint, and "Freedom For More" is one way for us to do just that…carry the hope & freedom Jesus offers even further.
Check out Pastor Shawn's blog for even more on this vision!
"Freedom For More" is an intentional 3-year plan to direct more resources toward ministry and life change as we excel in the grace of giving. By completing our financial obligations early, we will be better positioned to provide freedom for more, which means freedom to:
Finish our financial obligations 5 years sooner and allow us to redirect $250K toward greater missional investments.
Annually invest an additional $48K in Christ-centered ministry.
Model financial freedom for our SLW families and others.
Do more...for more!
Here’s how we are inviting everyone to join the mission:
Pray -> Evaluate ->
Commit
-> Act -> Rejoice!
Our pledge period ends on December 31 and we'll step into our "Act" phase!
Haiti Partnership
HAITI PARTNERSHIP
SLW has many missionary partners serving in Haiti. When the earthquake hit on January 12, 2010, those partners were able to respond quickly to the needs of those so desperate. As ongoing redevelopment occurs in Haiti, we are able to leverage our partnerships to support Wesleyan congregations in Haiti, help to supply communities, support orphanages, and even start a school building project.
SLW sends mission teams to Haiti for various type of projects at different times of year. If you're interested in joining one of these teams, please contact Pastor Beth at
bcossin_slwchurch.org
. Want a peek at our latest team in action and some of our Haitian partners? Check out the video gallery on the right. If you'd like to donate to the Haiti Disaster Development Fund, please click HERE.
Your continued prayers for our missionary partners serving in Haiti, as well as our partner churches and all of the people in Haiti are much desired. As many in Haiti say, "Tout mond nan se nan men Bondye," or, "All the world is in God’s hands."
