Pastor Appreciation

Hello SLW Family! October is Pastor Appreciation Month and we would like to bless Pastor Adam & Michelle. Here are a couple ways for you to get involved.

1. Pastor Appreciation Sunday Video Project

• Grab your family and a piece of poster board.
• Write, in large print, one word to describe Pastor Adam or what he means to your family.
• Take a pic of your family holding the sign.
• Email your pic to Heather - hmorris@slwchurch.org - by October 5

2. Pastor Appreciation All Year Round Blessing 

• Stop by the Coffee Bar before or after church and sign up for a week to bless Pastor Adam & Michelle. You can also email me and choose a week that way.
• Print your name on the week you chose and take a reminder card that matches your week.
• When it’s your week, choose a way to bless them. Here are some ideas to get you started: 

  Things they like to receive under $10—Woodsy/eucalyptus scented candles/wax melts; Bath & Body hand soaps/ sanitizers/wallflowers; Plants

   

  Other Ideas

  *Note—some ideas may be seasonal and will depend on which week you choose. 

  Rake leaves

  Mow yard

  Shovel/plow their driveway

  Bake a treat 

  Provide a meal or invite them to dinner

  Invite them over for game night

  Movie tickets

  Send a card of encouragement

  Long John Silvers Gift Card

  Themed gift basket

  Candy Grams

  Grocery or Gas Gift Card

  Anything Seahawks related

3. Join us on October 12, following the morning service, for a "Soup"er Sunday to celebrate with Pastor Adam. Sign up, at the Coffee Bar, in the Hub to bring a crockpot of soup, dinner rolls/bread/crackers, or cookies.
